Little Owls Rothwell

Set in green, tree-lined gardens, Little Owls Rothwell is located in a quiet residential area of Leeds LS26. The nursery is conveniently placed near the M1, Leeds Road and main commuter routes into Leeds.

We welcome children from three months to five years.

15 and 30-hour funded places available.

Learning and activities

We foster children’s natural instincts to explore and investigate, offering exciting and interesting activities to help children learn through play. Our highly trained staff work alongside qualified teachers, who offer Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum support.

Children enjoy free imaginative play and spend lots of time in our landscaped gardens throughout the day. They can follow their interests to try out different activities, as well as taking part in small group sessions. We offer educational activities to boost language development, and individual support plans for children with specific needs.

Keeping in touch

Each child has a key worker and a significant other, who know the child well and act as the main points of contact for families.

We keep in touch with parents using the free Tapestry app, an online journal sharing your child’s key moments, from lunch to photos of activities and detailed observations of their learning and progress.
