Learning and activities
We provide a warm, caring, stimulating environment in which children learn through play. Our highly trained staff offer the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum alongside qualified teachers.
Children enjoy exciting and challenging activities during free play and led sessions in small groups, including baking. Educational activities boost children’s communication and language development. We offer individual support plans for children with specific needs.
Children also enjoy free imaginative play, spending time in our two spacious gardens throughout the day. Whether they’re a fan of the mud kitchen or cosy reading nooks, children can follow their needs and interests. Our large green spaces include climbing areas, bikes, painting easels, and special construction and creative areas, while older children can explore den-making and a bug hotel.
Keeping in touch
Each child has a key worker and a significant other, who know the child well and act as the main points of contact for families.
We keep in touch with parents throughout the day using the free Tapestry app, an online journal sharing your child’s key moments – from lunch to photos of activities and detailed observations of their learning and progress.
