Learning and activities
Little Owls Parklands is a happy, safe and stimulating nursery where children enjoy themselves and have fun. We support all children in our care to become confident and independent, while they learn through play. Our highly trained staff are supported by qualified teachers to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
Children enjoy exciting and challenging activities during free play and led sessions in small groups. As part of our outdoor learning, children are given the opportunity to plant and care for flowers, herbs and vegetables. Educational activities boost communication skills, and we offer individual support plans for children with specific needs.
Keeping in touch
Each child has a key worker and a significant other, who both know the child well and are the main points of contact for families.
We keep in touch with parents using the free Tapestry app, an online journal sharing your child’s key moments, from lunch to photos of activities and detailed observations of their learning and progress.
SEND Support
Little Owls Parklands is very experienced in working with children with varied needs and we have a Special Education Needs Coordinator who works closely with families. Visit our SEND page to find out how we can support your child.
