Little Owls New Bewerley has an “Outstanding” Ofsted Rating
Little Owls New Bewerley is an inclusive centre and is located within New Bewerley Community School. The centre has developed good links with the school and we are currently delivering joint initiatives to support the children and families, e.g. Opera North, Transitions and Moderation training.
At Little Owls New Bewerley we focus on supporting children’s social and emotional development by working closely with the teachers who support the centre. Children make consistently high rates of progress from starting points.
The centre has extensive skills and knowledge to support children with SEND, staff work closely with agencies involved in children’s care to offer dedicated and tailored provision.
The centre provides freshly cooked meals and snacks which meet individual dietary requirements.
The centre can also offer support to access children’s centre services including debt advice, counselling and family support.
We are Mind Mate accredited and Breast feeding friendly.
Children who have special educational needs (SEN) and/or disabilities are superbly well supported by staff at the nursery. The Senco has extensive knowledge and the staff team work closely with other agencies involved in children’s care to offer dedicated and tailored provision e.g. Stars, DAHIT, CDT and VIT.
