Learning and activities
Little Owls Meanwood is committed to providing a warm environment where both children and adults feel comfortable, safe, valued and respected.
Our highly trained staff are supported by qualified teachers offering Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum support, as well as in-house lead practitioners in subjects such as maths, language and communication. Working collaboratively all staff are committed to ensuring that children are afforded the best possible start to their developmental journey.
All children have access to our large outdoor play area, where they are encouraged to explore and investigate throughout their time at the nursery. Developing inquisitive and excited learners is at the heart of what we do at Little Owls Meanwood.
Keeping in touch
Each child has a key worker and a significant other, who know the child well and act as the main points of contact for families. We keep in touch with parents using the free Tapestry app, an online journal sharing your child’s key moments, from lunch to photos of activities and detailed observations of their learning and progress.
SEND support
Little Owls Meanwood has an experienced team who are able to support and help children with Special Educational Needs.
