Learning and activities
Our curriculum is planned using the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. Children’s individual learning needs are incorporated in to focused activities.
We work alongside a qualified teacher and all Little Owls Little London Nursery staff are qualified to at least level 2 of a recognised early educator qualification, with the majority qualified to level 3 (or working towards qualification).
Our on-site cook prepares fresh meals daily, which are carefully planned to meet children’s nutritional needs.
Keeping in touch
Each child has a key worker and a significant other, who know them well and act as the main points of contact for families. We consider parents as partners in their children’s learning, and use the Tapestry app to record and share children’s learning experiences.
Little Owls Little London has extensive experience of working with children with SEND. Our facilities for children with SEND include Autism Education Trust Tier 3 trained practitioners and Autism-friendly spaces, including the use of visual symbols throughout the setting.
