Little Owls Kentmere has been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted
Our ambition is to give all children the best start in life. We support them to achieve and reach their full potential in a positive, rich, diverse and inclusive environment, working alongside parents and carers.
Children at Little Owls Kentmere will have a sense of belonging and feel safe, happy and valued as individuals, supporting the foundations of their learning.
Little Owls Kentmere was recently nominated for a National Award with The Creative Learning Guild, due to a creative collaboration with the Art Gallery.
“Partnerships with outside agencies such as Leeds Art Gallery, Leeds Rhinos, Opera North, Meanwood Urban Valley Farm, ACE Dance Company, FIP Drama and excellent parent partnerships provides rich experiences for children to enhance their learning and development and achieve their full potential. “ – Ofsted
Kentmere’s large outdoor provision provides opportunities for learning in the natural environment, using open end resources to engage children’s imagination and encourage risk-taking, with influence from the Forest School movement.

“It’s a very friendly and welcoming team, with a lovely ambience. It was a pleasure to come to meet such an enthusiastic team. The middle area is such a lovely space to train and the acoustics are lovely for cane activities.” (Ellen Maher, Visual impairment team)
