Little Owls Gipton North

Little Owls Gipton North is in a secluded area of Leeds LS8, close to regular public transport. Our lovely outdoor area is surrounded by trees and a generous garden space.

We welcome children from three months to five years.

Little Owls Gipton North offers a supportive environment for children, allowing them to learn and develop through play.

Learning and activities

The Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is covered by highly trained staff and supported by qualified teachers. Children enjoy exciting and varied activities during free play and led sessions in small groups. We also offer language groups and one-to-one support.

Children can also take part in imaginative playtime in our spacious gardens. They enjoy climbing areas, bikes, painting easels, and special construction and creative areas, with den-making for older children.

Whether they cook up a storm in the play kitchen or prefer to curl up with a book, every child can follow their interests.

Keeping in touch

Parents are our partners in supporting children at this early stage of development. Each child has a key worker and a significant other, who know them well and act as your family’s main points of contact.

You can also keep track of your child’s day using the free Tapestry app, an online journal sharing stories, photos and learning updates.

SEND support

We are an inclusive nursery. If your child needs extra support for any Special Educational Needs or Disabilities, our experienced team will be on-hand to make sure they have the best possible experience.
