Little Owls Chapeltown is rated as “Outstanding” by Ofsted.
Key Person System
On enrolment each child is allocated a key person. This person creates a strong relationship with the child and family. They will be aware of any medical or health needs and will be able to determine any changes in the child’s behaviour and wellbeing quickly and respond effectively. We also have a robust ‘significant other’ system in place, so in the absence of the Key person, the child and family will have another familiar person to ensure continuity of care.
We are committed to providing an environment in which children and adults feel comfortable, safe, valued and respected.
We use the TAPESTRY app to share children’s learning with their parents and carers so you can securely access your child’s profile online at any time.
We welcome and celebrate the individuality of every child and endeavour to work with their families to provide enjoyable and appropriately challenging play and learning experiences.
We place high priority on promoting resilience, independence skills and the opportunities for children to make informed and considered choices. Working in partnership with families, we hope to support children in developing into strong and confident young people who will make a positive contribution to their community.
Above all, we acknowledge a child’s right to a secure and happy childhood and recognise both the responsibility and privilege of being part of their lives.
