At Little Owls Chapeltown, we want all children and adults to feel comfortable, safe, valued and respected. We build independence and help children learn to make choices through fun play and educational experiences.
Learning and activities
Children can enjoy taking part in small group sessions and educational activities, as well as having fun in the outdoor garden area and imaginative free-play area. Experienced staff deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, supported by qualified teachers.
Keeping in touch:
On enrolment each child gains a key person, who will get to know the child well and act as the main points of contact for families. We also have a ‘significant other’ system, so in the key person’s absence, there’s another familiar person to ensure continuity of care.
We keep in touch with parents throughout the day using the free Tapestry app, an online journal sharing your child’s key moments and progress.
SEND support:
Our team is very experienced at supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and working closely with families and professionals.
