Little Owls Burley Park was rated as ‘OUTSTANDING’ by Ofsted.
“Children throughout the nursery behave impeccably well and play and learn happily together.”
“Staff have a first class approach to supporting children who have Special Educational Needs and or Disabilities. They quickly identify individual children’s learning needs, provide excellent support to parents and seek support from outside agencies where required. This means no child is disadvantaged.” – Ofsted
The nursery has a safe, spacious and exciting outdoor play area, which offers space and the freedom to move. This helps to support a healthy lifestyle by encouraging children to be physically active. The artificial turf, soft play area and covered canopy can be used in all weathers, ensuring children have access to outdoor play throughout the day all year round.
”Children are highly motivated to learn and are eager to join in the rich, varied, imaginative experiences and activities in this purposeful learning environment.” – Ofsted
There are also links with local primary schools who are invited to come along to one of the Parent Consultation Evenings held at the nursery. Support will be given to apply for a primary school place and once a place has been allocated the nursery work closely with the allocated school to ensure the child has a smooth transition.
“All children make excellent progress from their starting points and are extremely well prepared for school” – Ofsted
